I was born in Banini, Joburg but by heart I am a fully fledged Ballito Girl.  My youth was spent decorating this little town at the time with laughter, chatter and all things creative.   I completed matric at Ashton College and found that after school I wanted to be the next Nigela Lawson with sugar and spice but all things baked.  

 

After school I worked on my passion for wizardry in the kitchen through Capsicum Culinary Studios and qualified as a pastry chef in 2016.  I worked in the Beverley Hills Hotel during my school practical which hugely improved my taste for all things fine and creative. 

 

After completing my culinary course, I went into business with a friend.  We started our own patisserie/bakery at the Burndale Farm and I spent a lot of time perfecting my brews and mixes to make the most amazing cakes possible.  Kids party/Birthday events/Baby Showers; I did them all while keeping up with the trends and making dreams come true.

   

In 2018 I decided to go on my own adventure and start Yummies Home Baked Goods. I now make magic from home.  I make anything from standard cakes, biscuits and tarts to custom cakes for events.  Savoury or sweet; I do it all.  Just give me a call or complete the order from on the website. I will make it happen!
